If you have not submitted your bid, please bid accordingly with the new bid form. If you have already submitted your bid, a USACE representative will verify your intentions in regards to this tract. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for LEASE agricultural lands on approximately 384 acres within six (6) separate parcels at Radford Army Ammunition Plant, New River Unit, Radford, VA of which approximately the following acreages will be leased: Parcel: AL-7, 55 acres for GRAZING Parcel: AL-29, 29 acres for GRAZING Parcel: AL-12, 96 acres for HAY PRODUCTION Parcel: AL-21, 127 acres for HAY PRODUCTION Parcel: AL-30, 30 acres for HAY PRODUCTION Parcel: AL-31, 50 acres for HAY PRODUCTION Lease Information: The term of the lease will be for up to five (5) years with an option to renew for an additional five (5) years prior to the termination date of the original lease, beginning October 15, 2022 and ending October 14, 2027 and is revocable at will by the Secretary of the Army. The Lessee shall pay rent ANNUALLY, IN ADVANCE to the United States. The first year's payment will be due at the time the lease is signed and returned to this office for execution. The first payment, less the deposit, will be for the year’s first term beginning October 15, 2022 thru October 14, 2023. Subsequent annual payments will be made on or before 15 October of each year. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Thursday September 15, 2022 by the Acquisition, Management, and Disposal Branch, Real Estate Office, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, VA.
