The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale one (1) item of standing timber on approximately 30 acres within one (1) block at Ethan Allen Firing Range Installation, Chittenden County, Vermont. Approximately the following volumes to be harvested from within the designated block boundary: The sale is being sold lump sum, the full bid balance is due prior to commencing designated timber removal in the harvest block. Item 1: Fiegle Hill West ON 1 BLOCK (30 ACRES) SUGAR MAPLE – 72.22 MBF WHITE ASH – 22.08 MBF BLACK CHERRY – 3.91 MBF RED MAPLE – 2.20 MBF YELLOW BIRCH – 0.82 MBF PAPER BIRCH – 0.28 MBF FIREWOOD – 289 Cord CHIPWOOD – 2,590 Ton Contract Period of Performance: Item # one (1) Fiegel Hill West Timbersale: All tree felling shall be complete by 1 October 2022, no tree felling shall occur from June 1 to July 31; tree skidding, processing, and hauling shall be complete 1 October 2022; and all site repair work as directed must be complete by 30 October 2022. INSPECTION INVITED ON FRIDAY November 19, 2021 AT 10:00 a.m. AN ADDITIONAL DATE AND TIME MAY BE AVAILABE DEPENDING ON ADDITIONAL INTEREST. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 2, 2021 by the Acquisition, Management, and disposal section, real estate office, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, VA, and then opened publicly.
