The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale one (1) items of standing timber on approximately 88 acres within one (1) block at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Newport News, VA 23604 of which approximately the following volumes to be harvested: This sale is sold LUMP SUM, harvested timber will be sold LUMP SUM. Item 1 - TIMBER ON 1 BLOCK (88 ACRES) PINE SAWTIMBER – 363 MBF (thousand board foot) HARDWOOD SAWTIMBER – 418 MBF (thousand board foot) Contract Period of Performance: Item # one (1) Block # one (1) – All harvest operations including site rehabilitation activities of this item shall be completed by 31 December 2022. No tree felling between 1 June and 31 July 2022. INSPECTION INVITED ON TUESDAY 3 August 2021 BEGINNING AT 10:00 a.m. FOR ACCESS TO HARVEST AREAS ARRANGE IN ADVANCE. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Thursday 12 August 2021 by the Acquisition, Management, and Disposal section, Real Estate Office, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, VA, and then opened publicly.
