The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale one (1) item of standing timber on approximately 95 acres within two (2) separate blocks at Ethan Allen Firing Range Installation, Chittenden County, Vermont of which approximately the following volumes to be harvested: The sales are sold per Item by unit, harvested timber will be sold by MBF Scaled at the receiving mill and by WEIGHT by the ton. Item 1: Obstacle Course ON 1 BLOCK (51 ACRES) WHITE PINE -- 146 MBF RED MAPLE – 51 MBF WHITE ASH – 26 MBF ASPEN – 18 MBF BLACK CHERRY – 18 MBF PAPER BIRCH – 14 MBF HARDWOOD PULPWOOD – 60 Cord FIREWOOD – 140 Cord CHIPWOOD – 1900 Ton ROUNDWOOD – 50 Ton Firing Point 4 ON 1 BLOCK (44 ACRES) RED MAPLE – 57 MBF WHITE ASH – 21 MBF PAPER BIRCH – 18 MBF BLACK CHERRY – 11 MBF WHITE PINE -- 10 MBF SUGAR MAPLE – 7 MBF RED OAK – 6 MBF HARDWOOD PULPWOOD – 100 Cord FIREWOOD – 120 Cord CHIPWOOD – 1320 Ton ROUNDWOOD – 150 Ton Contract Period of Performance: Item # one (1) Obstacle Course Timbersale and Firing Point 4 Timbersale: All tree felling shall be complete by 15 April 2021; tree skidding, processing, and hauling must be complete 31 May 2021; and all site repair work as directed must be complete by 30 June 2021. INSPECTION INVITED ON FRIDAY 3 January 2020 AT 10:00 a.m. AN ADDITIONAL DATE AND TIME MAY BE AVAILABE DEPENDING ON ADDITIONAL INTEREST. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Thursday January 16, 2020 by the Acquisition, Management, and disposal section, real estate office, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, VA, and then opened publicly.
