The Department of the Army is seeking proposals for a long-term Enhanced Use Lease of up to 25 acres at Fort Drum to develop a mineral processing facility. The lease term is 50 years, with a possible renewal option, and the selected lessee will be responsible for all aspects of design, financing, construction, operation, and decommissioning. Consideration for the lease will be in cash, in-kind, or a combination, valued at no less than the fair market appraisal. The project must be viable without any financial contribution from the Army and must not conflict with ongoing installation missions or the surrounding community. Performance of services will take place at Fort Drum, New York.
