Lease for Mineral EUL at Fort Drum
The Department of the Army is seeking proposals for a long-term Enhanced Use Lease of up to 25 acres at Fort Drum to develop a mineral processing facility. The lease term is 50 years, with a possible renewal option, and consideration must be at least the fair market value, payable in cash, in-kind, or a combination. The selected lessee will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including financing, design, construction, operation, and decommissioning, without any financial contribution from the Army. The project must not conflict with ongoing military missions or the surrounding community. Performance of services will be at Fort Drum, New York.
