This announcement is issued as a notification of the Defense Commissary Agency’s intent to enter into a sole source contract extension under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, “… Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements,” to DIGI America for maintenance and repair services for DIGI America brand name meat wrapping systems and scales for Defense Commissary Agency commissaries located in CONUS, Alaska and Hawaii. The associated North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5 million. This sources sought synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government requests all responsible sources to respond to this notice in writing including details of your ability to provide this service to all locations. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This determination will be based upon the responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
