THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. In accordance with Part 10 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, the Government is conducting market research to determine the availability and adequacy of colleges and universities resources in addressing the government’s information technology requirements. This Request for Information (RFI) does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or to award a contract. All information accepted will be handled appropriately and will not be disseminated outside the Government. The Government is not obligated to pay and will not reimburse any costs associated with this RFI. This RFI is being issued by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Business and Enterprise Systems (BES) Directorate located at 490 E. Moore Dr, Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL 36114. The Government’s goal in issuing this RFI is to identify colleges and universities who demonstrate the core competency needed to execute modernized technology advances that is beneficial to the Government’s informational technology needs. This RFI is seeking information from colleges and universities to determine which have the skills and interest in bridging technological and business gaps as identified in the attached Statement of Interest. The Government may further engage with qualified respondents to this RFI by seeking additional information about capabilities. Your submission is due no later than Friday, 8 November 2019. Based on the evaluation of your submission, the Government will offer an opportunity for an in-person 45-minute presentation the first week of December 2019. Notification of your opportunity to brief will be provided by the Government no later than Wednesday, 13 November, 2019. Your submission will include the completion of the attached Statement of Interest form. Any questions regarding this RFI shall be submitted via e-mail by Wednesday, 6 November 2019 to AFLCMC.HIK.CollegiatePitchDay@us.af.mil. The completed Statement of Interest form must be received via email no later than 5:00 PM CST on Friday, 8 November 2019. Be advised that all submissions become Government property.
