The scope of work includes removing and storing furniture (on-site) through phases and re-install upon floor completion. Work includes demolition, removal and disposal of the following: existing vinyl composite tile (VCT), north wall of RM S115A, magnetic closing mechanism for fire doors and select sprinklers within the vault of Building 190. New VCT and rubber cove base shall be installed in select areas throughout the building. Existing conference room S115A will be reconfigured to facilitate a new layout that will accommodate a larger mission briefing room area. New fluorescent light fixture shall be installed within the new extended conference room and relocation of one (1) fire sprinkler head and one (1) rotating blue light to accommodate reconfigured conference room space. New six (6) fire sprinkler heads shall be installed, in compliance with NFPA 101, in the vault to ensure proper head clearance from hard ceiling. A new magnetic closing system for fire doors and two (2) smoke detectors on either side of the fire doors shall be installed to ensure compliance with NFPA 101 requirements. The Government intends to post the Invitation for Bid on or about 17 March 2022.
