This is a design-build project. The Design-Build Contractor shall furnish all services, materials, supplies, equipment, investigations, studies, supervision and travel necessary to produce construction drawings and specifications that completely and accurately represent the intent of the Statement of Objectives (SOO). The objectives of this work include, but are not limited to: a) Design, demolition, construction & replacement of equipment in the upgrade of the Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) for Building 12. Work shall consist of but is not limited to the upgrade of the demolition & replacement of the existing HVAC and all associated components; ventilation units, fan coils, ducting as required, grilles, diffusers, piping and Alerton DDC controls. Work shall include design and install of electrical in support of the new HVAC, which shall include as a minimum the upgrade of the Master Distribution Panel, Panel A-1, and Panel P. b) Additional repairs to be made to existing fire suppression system, including pipe length changes and repair of broken escutcheons in specified locations. Removed items shall be replaced with new work to counter increased heat load.
