STATEMENT OF WORK The Clinical Trial Unit of the U.S. Naval Medical Research Unit No. 6 (NAMRU-6) in collaboration with the Virology & Emerging Infections Department performs PCR molecular testing for influenza and SARS-CoV2 viruses as part of the research surveillance activities, using instruments, such as the QUANTSTUDIO™ 5 and QUANSTUDIO 6/7 FLEX Real-Time PCR. The VEI Department owns and utilizes QUANTSTUDIO™ 5 and QUANSTUDIO 6/7 FLEX Real-Time PCR instruments in Lima. Two (02) PCR instruments require annual preventive maintenance and regular calibration in order to keep working in optimum conditions at NAMRU-6, Lima. Service includes: Review and measurement of the electrical system and fuse Decontamination of the sample-well block. Touch Screen Review and Cleaning. Carrying out Self Verification Test. General cleaning of parts of the equipment. Firmware update (if applicable). Calibration of the equipment with calibration plates.
