This Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) authorizes and approves the issuance of multiple contract actions to Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD), 1151 E. Hermans Rd., Tucson, Arizona 85756-9367 for the acquisition, testing, and fielding of: 1) Missiles in support of the Medium Range Intercept Capability (MRIC) Prototype deployment, 2) MRIC systems, launchers, and mini-Battle Management and Control (mBMC) systems, and 3) logistics and technical support for the items being acquired. These actions are follow-on to several Contractual Engineering Tasks accomplished through the Defense Microelectronics Activity Advanced Technology Support Program IV. The authority to act under this class justification expires on 30 September 2030.
