The nature of this action is to evaluate and establish two 1-month Firm-Fixed price (FFP) option periods to extend the period oferformance (PoP) for task order HC101318F0039 in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, which was included in the task order Request for Quotation, but the pricing for which was not evaluated at time of task order award. The PoP for the current task order ends December 17, 2018. This extension will extend the PoP by 2 months, if all options are exercised. The PoP of the extension will be December 18, 2018 - February 17, 2019. This extension will ensure continued support while evaluations are completed and award is made for the follow-on task order. The Inmarsat VHF VDL/DirecTV Combined Aeronautical Communication Services effort actively supports mission tasking requirements as part of the Senior Leader Command, Control and Communications System – Airborne (SLC3S-A) command element.
