The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Helicopter Program Office, HH-60W Division (AFLCMC/WIH) is officially conducting market research that will be used to assess the ability of companies and industry at large to design, develop, integrate, test, produce and sustain a light weight directional infrared countermeasures system (DIRCM) B-Kit. See attached document. 3 Nov 2021 updated response date from 15 Nov to 22 Nov. No other changes were made. 3 Feb 2022 update: Requesting effectiveness data against any IR threats. This could be from the current version of a proposed DIRCM solution or previous fielded ones. Please identify how it was tested (flight test or simulation) and how the effectiveness was calculated. The HPO will accept hard copy or a CD-ROM submissions (for classified material) postmarked by 28 February 2022. Reminder to please properly label all classified material.
