This notice is related to Sources Sought posted on 26 October 2022, under Notice ID N4019223_DIGITAL_CONTROLLERS_NAVFAC_MARIANAS This approved Justification & Approval (J&A) is to specify a specific brand name (i.e. Johnson Controls, Inc.) for the Direct Digital Controls (DDC) equipment, software, ancillary equipment or network devices for communication, connection, monitoring and integrated control via the front end software. The brand name description (see below table for List of brand names and manufacturers) is essential to the activity’s cybersecurity requirements for Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) and in support of the NAVY’s Smart Grid program, thereby precluding consideration of a product manufactured by any other company.
