Please email carmella.holtz.ctr@us.af.mil if you plan to attend and require base access assistance. The flooring materials in the CE admin areas sustained significant water damage. The contractor will remove existing furniture in preparation of work and remove existing broadloom carpet, wall base and transition strips in areas indicated on sheets I101 and I102 found in APPENDIX B. They will then install new modular carpet tile, rubber wall base and transition strips in accordance with manufacturers recommended practices. After flooring products have been installed, the contractor will reinstall all furniture. Additional details are described below: 1. Remove existing furniture and reserve for future reinstallation 2. Remove existing broadloom carpet, transition strips and wall base a. Existing carpet: 10,593 SF b. Existing wall base: 2,815 LF 3. Prepare surfaces for installation of new materials 4. Install new modular carpet tile a. New Carpet: 11,653 SF (includes 10% waste factor) b. Product to be installed 1. Manufacturer: Milliken Flooring 2. Style: Arctic Survey 3. Pattern: Expedition 4. Color: Subzero 5. Installation method: Ashlar 5. Install new transition strips to match wall base as needed between flooring materials where change in level will exceed ¼”. 6. Install new wall base a. New wall base: 2,815 LF b. Product to be installed 1. Manufacturer: Mannington 2. Style: Burkebase, standard toe 3. Size: 4” 4. Color: Charcoal 7. Reinstall all furniture C. Clean site to preconstruction or better. D. The Contractor shall provide a standard 1 year Contractor’s warranty for all labor and material from date of the base’s acceptance of completion. E. As part of the bid package the Contractor shall submit a completed copy of APPENDIX A-SCHEDULE C. F. Proposals to include not less than prevailing wage labor rate for Garfield County, OK. G. Proposals must be valid for a minimum of 90 days. H. Owner reserves the right to reject any bid which does not completely satisfy the scope of work above. I. The Contractor shall reserve remaining material for use by the government as attic stock. AS STATED IN THE STATEMENT OF WORK.
