DLA is seeking sources that can manufacture NSN 5970-002957658, currently approved to CAGE 81349 PN MIL-I-3064. The item has an AMC/AMSC rating of “1T,” meaning competitive acquisition is possible for a second or subsequent time, but competition is limited to sources listed on or qualified for the QPL at award. Interested manufacturers may submit capability information directly to the listed Contract Specialist. Companies not already approved may pursue qualification through DLA Weapons Support’s Alternate Offer/Source Approval Request (SAR) Program. A SAR package must include technical data demonstrating the prospective contractor can competently manufacture the item to the same or better quality than the OEM.
