This is not a solicitation/request for proposal. The solicitation/request for proposal will be forth coming. When issued the Solicitation/Request for Proposal can be found on the DSCC Bid website at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The subject requirement is for the acquisition of the NSNs on the attached. This will be solicited as an Indefinite Quantity Long Term Contract containing a 3-year base period and two 1-year option periods. The total duration, base plus option years, shall not exceed 5 years. Solicitation will be issued using FAR Part 15 procedures and will require Certified Cost and Pricing Data unless proof of commerciality can be provided. Please return the attached Market Research to the Contract Specialist Elizabeth Hanlon at Elizabeth.hanlon@dla.mil. The approved source for all NSNs included in the solicitation is Marotta Controls (99657). While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. NSNs are now part of the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program, which is Government, arranged commercial transportation will be used in lieu of supplier provided transportation. Suppliers will register with DLA's Vendor Shipment Module (VSM). When ready to ship, supplier will request a pick-up in VSM. Pick-ups are generally made within 48 business hours of the request by commercial carrier. The estimated Solicitation Issue date is on or about9/31/2021, with the Response date on or around 11/1/2021. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the Worldwide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available.
