Sources Sought Notice Surety for Benefit Plan for Presidential Appointees This sources sought announcement is for information purposes only; it does not constitute a solicitation or proposal. Responses will not be considered proposals, nor will any award result from responds to this sources sought announcement. At this time no solicitation exists. Washington Headquarters Services (WHS)/Acquisition Directorate (AD) is seeking to identify sources, which have the interest and ability to provide Presidential Appointees (PAs) with financial guarantee or surety. The Department of Defense (DoD) Presidential Appointees (PAs), which are confirmed by the U.S. Senate , must secure, through a financial guarantee or surety, that the PAs defined benefit retirement plan, will continue to make payments if the former private employer becomes bankrupt or financially insolvent. This coverage is required by the Senate Armed Services Committee. The PA pays the premium for the surety. Responses must reference solicitation number, CLS010320191326. The responses shall include the following information: 1. DUNS and CAGE number. 2. Company associated NAICS codes. 3. Name and address of firm. 4. Type of business (i.e. small business, small disadvantaged 8(a) certified; HubZone, woman-owned small business, small disadvantaged business (not 8(a) certified)), certain-owned small business, and disabled veteran owned business, etc.) 5. Point of contact to include: name, title, phone, fax and e-mail. 6. Contractor’s capabilities statement which provides the information stated above. 7. List of customers covering the past three years including a summary of similar work performed, contract number, contract type and dollar value. The list of customers shall include the customer POC, phone number, and email address of individuals who can verify the performance of previous contracts or similar work. 8. Documents in Micro-Soft Word, PDF format or Zipped files Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered and referred to the Presidential Appointees seeking these type services. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of these results of the evaluation. All information submitted in response to this announcement must arrive on or before the closing date.
