Item details are as follows: NSN 3040-013578756 SHAFT, SHOULDERED Approved Source and Part Number: THE ENTWISTLE COMPANY LLC (20722) – P/N 4524730-2 Estimated Annual Demand Quantity (ADQ) – 40 Unit of Issue – Each North American Industry Classification System Codes (NAICS) – 333613 NAICS Business Size – 750 While DLA Land & Maritime may have drawings/specifications associated with these items, only the source listed is currently approved. This is a restricted source item and requires engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source require acquisition of the part from the approved source. The approved source retains data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application.
