DLA Land & Maritime is preparing to solicit the NSNs listed below for Transparent Armor and Armor Frame for an Indefinite Quantity long-term contract. These items are used on armored trucks in the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) series. Oshkosh Defense, LLC (75Q65) and Plasan North America, Inc. (535V1) are the approved sources. The approved part numbers are listed below with the NSNs. DLA Land & Maritime does NOT have any technical data with which to procure these items. The purpose of this synopsis is to locate sources interested in becoming approved sources. The solicitation will be synopsized separately at a later date. Interested sources may submit the appropriate information outlined in DLAD Procurement Note L04, Offers for Part Numbered Items, at this time and until the solicitation synopsis closes. Alternate offer packages may also be submitted at any other time to be considered for future procurements. The agency has no data with which to evaluate alternate products.
