This procurement is for one (1) National Stock Number (NSN) 2510-01-593-2843, which supports the MRAP-ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE and others. NSN is cage and part with one source as stated in the attachment. This procurement is for five (5) years, which includes a three-year base period and up to two option years. The resulting long-term contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ). The solicitation will issue as unrestricted with other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Based on market research the government is using the policies contained in FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation in its solicitation for this NSN. All responsible sources may submit an offer/proposal, which shall be considered. The government will be conducting a best value source selection process where the final award decision will be based upon price, delivery, past performance, surge and sustainment, and other factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on the internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ when it is solicited. Federal Supply Class: 2510. The item under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
