This is a sources sought notice required when using only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1). APPROVED SOURCE: PIVOTAL POWER INC (38370) DLA Land and Maritime is considering a future solicitation(s), and subsequent award, of an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC/LTC) for the item(s) listed below. The resultant IQC/LTC could potentially range from 3 to 5 years in length. NSN ITEM 5963200024827 ELECTRONIC MODULE 6120200081749 POWER SUPPLY 6130200016268 BATTERY POWER SUPPLY 6130200016269 POWER SUPPLY 6130200018394 POWER SUPPLY,UNINTE This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). See attached Market Survey questionarrie and spreadsheet for NSNs and approved source/part number. Please provide any adddtional sources that may be able to manufacture these items. Please complete and return directly to the buyer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. In order to make a commercial determination, we would need sufficient documentation to support commerciality. Example Documentation: 1. Published Catalog/Price LIsts (provide location of website) 2. Unredacted Commerical Sales HIstory (i.e. invoices showing sales to companies outside of Federal, State, or Local Government). The importance of providing unredacted invoices is to show items have been sold commercially at like prices and for like quantities. 3. Proof of availability or annoucement of the Commercial item to the general public. 4. Simliar items- must indicate if minor/major modifciation, provide differences include technical and pricing.
