This Justification and Approval (J&A) supports a request for CEHNC to execute a sole-source, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) for the legacy Metasys Building Automation System (BAS). Award is to Johnson Controls Building Automation Systems, LLC (JCBAS) (an affiliate of Johnson Controls, Inc. and Johnson Controls Federal Systems). The Metasys BAS (hereby referred to as Metasys) is a proprietary system that provides an automated, computer-networked distributed control system to monitor the mechanical, security, fire, flood, lighting, heating/air conditioning, and ventilation systems located within Government facilities.
