This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) Defense Healthcare Management Systems Contracting Division (DHMS-CD) is seeking potential sources for capabilities to support the documentation of care in expeditionary environments, and the transmission of that documentation back to the single longitudinal health record. DHMS-CD is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of effectively fulfilling the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for planning purposes and for determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may submit a written response stating how they would fulfill the requirement and include appropriate documentation describing their experience for providing such services. The written response must provide sufficient detail to allow for an assessment by the Government without the need for additional information. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources, no Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP) exists. Furthermore, this Sources Sought does not itself constitute a RFQ. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which the DHMS-CD can issue a contract. Therefore, the Government does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this Sources Sought. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. DHMS-CD will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought.
