This requirement will replace all of the outdated mechanical and refrigeration equipment and all refrigeration systems including display cases with a conventional parallel rack with R-448A refrigerant. Structural work will be required to support the new refrigeration condensers on the roof. The Refrigeration Monitoring and Control System (RMCS) will be replaced. The outdated Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment will be replaced with more energy efficient direct cooling system and will utilize gas fired equipment for heating. Minor architectural repair work will be required where existing HVAC equipment or components are replaced.
