This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of sole source acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the Maintenance and Overhaul of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: FORCE GENERATOR OUTPUT NSN:1560-01-658-0563 OUTPUT P/N: NVX-2123-1 INPUT NSN :1560-0-658-0563 INPUT P/N: NVX-2123-1 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 2 – Maximum 288 each (Maximum of 288 each includes quantity of 240 US and a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 48 each) The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. The Force Generator is NOT a Critical Safety Item (CSI) Technical data to include a Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) is NOT available for this effort. Currently the only known approved source for the repair for the Force Generator is Lord Corporation (CAGE Code 76005) Interested parties who have capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio economic status as applicable. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate’s Shopping List procedures.
