All information submitted in response to t... Sources Sought For Beale AFB Painting Requirement THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The 9th Contracting Squadron, Beale AFB, CA is seeking capabilities from businesses classified as Small, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition for a Painting contract. Please note that this Sources Sought does not in any way obligate the Government to award a subsequent Contract. This Sources Sought is for market research and planning purposes to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive. The Painting requirement is for exterior and interior painting, and related work entitled “maintain paint base wide” (e.g. pavement markings). The Contractor shall be required to furnish all personnel, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to plan, manage, and accomplish painting requirements in strict accordance with contract specifications and drawings. A draft of the Statement of Work and Bidding Schedule are included in this notice for market research purposes only, do not submit a proposal. Any suggestions or questions are welcomed, these will be used to improve the requirement documents. These may not receive an answer or might be answered until time of solicitation. A total period of performance has not been determined yet, this may range from 5 to 8 years. Work will be released to a successful contractor in work packages via task orders. This requirement is expected to be awarded as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a ceiling of $11M. All documents included in this notice are draft documents. PERFORMANCE LOCATION: Beale AFB, CA PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE (POP): The period of performance is expected to be between five (5) to eight (8) years. NAICS CODE: 238320 Painting and Wall Covering Contractors SIZE STANDARD: $16.5M In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database via www.sam.gov. The following information is requested if interested in this requirement: 1. Company Information - Name, Business Address, Point of Contact, Telephone Number, E-mail Address, Business Size in relation to the NAICS code size standard assigned to this acquisition, Number of Years in Business etc., and a positive statement of your intention to submit a proposal for this requirement as a prime contractor. 2. Socio-economic Status (e.g., Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), etc.). 3. Provide your bonding capacity per contract and aggregate. 4. Capabilities Statement 5. CAGE and DUNS 6. Any questions or suggestions you might have regarding the provided draft documents. 7. Any issues with providing pricing for an 8 year contract vs. a 5 year contract. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of small business concerns. Prime contractors, must be US-owned entities, who intend to submit a package for this Sources Sought.
