Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) is issuing this sources sought synopsis, on behalf of the requiring activity, PdM Bridging, as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the following requirement: The Government plans to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Birdon America Inc. (BAI) to make repairs and perform functional / operational test of an M30 Bridge Erection Boat (BEB) that sustained fire damage. The Government has a requirement to perform field and sustainment level repairs to the M30 BEB. Fire damaged the crew station, counsel, wiring, circuit protection, crew protection kits, and structural components. BAI is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and is the only known source with the knowledge and expertise to repair the M30 BEB to serviceable condition. The BEB is a 24ft twin engine, water jet propelled aluminum hull work boat. It provides propulsion, thrust and stabilization for the Improved Ribbon Bridge (IRB) bays for "full closure" bridging and rafting operations. Its secondary mission supports short-term anchorage, diving support missions, troop transport and personnel and equipment recovery. It is launched and retrieved from the Common Bridge Transporter (CBT) by use of a Bridge Adapter Pallet (BAP). The M30 BEB system is identified as the boat, Crew Protection Kit (CPK) and Bridge Adaptor Pallet (BAP). PdM Bridging is seeking information to assess the availability of sources that possess the capabilities to provide services as specified above. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information that the agency will consider: 1) A positive statement of your interest as a prime contractor; 2) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; 3) A statement identifying your certified small business designation (if any); 4) Evidence of prior successful work similar in scope and magnitude to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers; 5) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability; and 6) If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements.
