Electric Modernization Upgrade

Notice ID:BAA-N6893625S0001-0001

NAWCWD intends to field a modular, COTS-based capability integrated into custom hardware for the MH-60R Seahawk, with an initial operational capability target of Q1 FY2028. The current ad hoc assembly and support model lacks defined material flow, supply-chain management, quality control, and software deployment, making traditional large-scale or depot sustainment cost-prohibitive for this small program. The government seeks solutions for one or all of the following: a repeatable production process executable by a small team; lightweight deployment and sustainment processes; rugged, reusable packaging compatible with Joint Modular Intermodal Containers, Pelican cases, or similar for rapid global air transport; and human-factors-optimized chassis, mounts, and installation/removal processes for shipboard and austere environments. These improvements should reduce required time, tools, personnel, and specialized infrastructure while increasing operational availability and lowering long-term lifecycle costs.
