This is not an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, or confirmation that the Government will contract for the items contained in the Sources Sought, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied. Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources in determining if a Small Business set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate, and in determining whether or not this approach to securing contracting support is practicable. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Sources Sought. Responses to this notice will not be returned. The 87th Contracting Squadron (87 CONS) - Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL), NJ is conducting market research to determine the existence of interested Small Business sources for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220 - Commerical and Institutional building construction. The small business size standard is $36.5M. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information on qualified and experienced contractors interested in providing proposals. The work consists of providing labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary for the exterior renovations for building 2311 on Joint Base Mcguire/Dix/Lakehurst in accordance with the attached statement of work (SOW). The work may include, but is not limited to: demolition of existing exterior EIFS and providing new EIFS siding, new entry canopy, window replacement, new lighting, replacement of louvers and vents and removal of exterior wiring and pipes from the façade and relocate to the interior. This project also includes site landscaping, new curbs, pavers, sidewalks, mulch, new soil, seeding, vegetation and removal and patching of asphalt roadway. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The following information is requested in this Sources Sought: 1.
