The U.S. Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI) as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support, the Secretary of the Air Force, Financial Management Service’s (SAF/FM’s) auto process flow, which currently uses Laserfiche’s “Rio” software (hereafter referred to as Laserfiche). Laserfiche was integrated into the Commercial-off-the-Shelf “Momentum”® software configured for Special Programs called Specialized Accounting and Finance Enterprise System (SAFES). Workflow automation and interfaces were added to link Laserfiche to SAFES to provide a seamless electronic document management system (EDMS). Laserfiche allows archival and retrieval of documents for research, traceability, auditability, and meets legal requirements for document storage. This Sources Sought Notice is being published to identify potential sources capable of sustaining and maintaining (configuring and integrating) Laserfiche, the EDMS for SAF/FMBIB and SAF/FMFD, as an integrated module of SAFES, as well as providing the actual “Rio” software licenses (#?). This support is for the offices in the Pentagon, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and at the SAFES Development location in Herndon, Virginia.
