The contractor shall furnish the requested asset; “ One (1) PLANESKATE or equal to” also known as AIRCRAFT TIRE DOLLY. No alterations, additions, or deletions shall be made to the contract purchase unless prior approval is given in writing by the Contracting Officer (CO). Project Description: An “PLANESKATE or equal to” Aircraft Dolly is an industrial grade, multi-purpose tool designed to assist in the removal of commuter, corporate and military fighter sized disabled aircraft quickly and safely from active runways, taxiways or busy ramps while at the same time ensuring no further damage to the disabled aircraft. The overall minimum requirements of the “PLANESKATE or equal to” equipment requires to have a small base within the sizes of 5' wide and 9' long with the tray size of 35" wide and 52" long, not including the ramp. The requirement is to be mobile in weight and size to ensure agile movement of asset. The total weight should not exceed 2500 pounds with the capabilities to move a maximum of 75,000 pounds Gross Weight aircraft and less.
