The 87th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research via a sources-sought notice for air operations support for the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) Open House 2027 air show. The contractor must provide a certified FAA Recognized Air Boss – Multi-Venue (RAB-MV), professional air show announcer, turnkey sound system covering an approximately 5,000-foot crowd line, and non-standard operations SME support. Relevant experience is required supporting large military or civilian air shows with complex flying operations, high attendance up to 100,000 spectators per show day, and coordination with FAA and military stakeholders such as the USAF Thunderbirds or USN Blue Angels. The anticipated period of performance is 21 December 2026 through 31 May 2027, with on-site support at JB MDL, NJ from 27–31 May 2027 and the Open House scheduled for 29–30 May 2027 with rehearsal on 28 May 2027.
