This Statement of Work (SOW) establishes the requirements for contractor support services for the Air Vehicle Test and Evaluation Division (AVT&E) Division, Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL), Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). NAVAIR Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) task NTWL to perform test and evaluation engineering, which includes research and development, systems analysis and engineering, and integration of warfare systems into Naval Aircraft and aviation subsystems. The Air Vehicle Test and Evaluation Division is responsible for test of air vehicles (manned or unmanned), as well as those systems related to and associated with the air vehicle, for example, landing systems, weapon systems, in-flight refueling systems, etc. The AVT&E Division is a mission aligned organization and provides personnel with air vehicle test and evaluation expertise to participate, lead and support test teams tasked to execute test programs. Contractor support established under this work description will supplement AVT&E Division led test teams. Government and contractor personnel will work together as a joint effort in the execution of air vehicle test activities supporting projects assigned by Division leadership.
