Advanced Tactical Parachute System (ATPS) Design Optimization - Canopy Release Assembly (CRA)

Notice ID:ATPS_DesignOptimization_CRA_RFI

The government is conducting market research to identify industry sources capable of designing and providing a modernized Canopy Release Assembly (CRA) to replace the legacy Capewell components on the Advanced Tactical Parachute System. The replacement must integrate with existing T-11 and MC-6 risers and harnesses without requiring comprehensive redesigns, feature a static-line two-stage release requiring two deliberate actions, and address corrosion issues through appropriate materials or plating. Interested parties are asked to submit white papers and technical data covering engineering analysis, load ratings, manufacturing readiness, domestic availability, and cost estimates for both initial units and full-rate production. Responses are to be submitted by email to the specified government points of contact. This is a market research request only and does not constitute a solicitation.
