The replacement must integrate with existing T-11 and MC-6 risers and harnesses without requiring comprehensive redesigns, feature a static-line two-stage release requiring two deliberate actions, and address corrosion issues through appropriate materials or plating. Interested parties are asked to submit white papers and technical data covering engineering analysis, load ratings, manufacturing readiness, domestic availability, and cost estimates for both initial units and full-rate production.
