EPG requires a replacement system for its current test item positioning system used on the Antenna Test Facility (ATF) Compact Range (CR). This solution provides for removal of the old positioning system, control room, and foundation along with installation of new underground control room, support pit, pylon, and new positioning and mounting system. The new positioning system will facilitate loading heavy test platforms at ground level and raising them to the proper test height within the "quiet zone" of the existing CR. The positioner will provide a conventional azimuth over elevation coordinate system with the rotational center aligned with the center of the test object. SEE ATTCHED SOW (STATEMENT OF WORK).
