06/29/2022 The purpose of this notice is to publicly synopsize a requirement for the repair by replacement of HVAC, Ground Floor, Air Handler Unit (AHU)-12 based on the following scope: The scope of w... 06/29/2022 The purpose of this notice is to publicly synopsize a requirement for the repair by replacement of HVAC, Ground Floor, Air Handler Unit (AHU)-12 based on the following scope: The scope of work includes replacing the existing air handling unit AHU#12 and associated piping, ductwork, equipment, and controls at the Arnold Facility Building 100. The area served by AHU#12 is approximately 10,000 square feet of facilities equipment plus an additional 600 square feet of Administrative/Office area. The work shall include miscellaneous structural and architectural work for the replacement of AHU #12. Work under this contract will occur in a secure area and shall comply with the requirements of paragraph 1.12 SECURITY of this section. The work shall be performed by an experienced mechanical contractor with expertise in replacing Air Handler Units. This effort shall be set aside for small business under NAICS code 238220 – Plumbing, heating, and A/C contractors. The contract performance period shall be 156 calendar days. Once the notice to proceed is issued, the first 72 days is off site performance. This time is set aside for the preparation of submittals, Government review of submittals and ordering materials and equipment. The approximate cost of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The work is located at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency facilities at 3838 Vogel Rd in Arnold, MO. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be posted on or about July 15, 2022.
