The APG’s QRP (from this point known as the Seller) is currently accepting bids for the sale of approximately 62,200 pounds (lbs.) of expended brass. The estimated amounts listed above are taken from the most recent historical information maintained in the Seller’s records. It is provided to give prospective buyers an awareness of a rough order of magnitude for planning. All expended brass is stored on site at APG in approximately 27 hoppers (see pictures). Expended brass is separated by size, with exception to off-spec brass. All material is .50 caliber or under including the off-spec brass. Interested bidders should complete the attached Standard Form (SF) 114-F indicating the Item number, unit price bid and total price bid (based on the estimated quantities listed above) and return it with this signed document by email no later than 07/12/2024. The Buyer must send bids to all three points of contacts, Ms. Vickie Venzen at vickie.a.venzen.civ@army.mil, Mr. Michael Lancos at michael.e.lancos.civ@army.mil and Ms. Amy Bowen at amy.m.bowen.civ@army.mil, indicating the price per pound that they would like to bid for all materials identified in this solicitation, excluding any storage /or processing equipment owned by the Seller. The final material weight will be determined after the materials are loaded for transport off the Installation. The winning bid will be the highest per pound responsive bid payment to the Seller. The amount paid will not be adjusted to reflect composition percentages. BID PACKAGE REQUIREMENTS: Please note - Interested bidders (from this point known as the Buyer) should submit a complete bid package which MUST include all the below items. Failure to provide such items may lead to bid rejection. They are: a. Completed SF 114-F b. Signed Sales Agreement c. Proof of motor vehicle liability and bodily injury insurance (Sample Certificate of Insurance) d. List of equipment that will be staged at the scrap yard during material removal. e. Proof of experience operating the equipment listed in 1d above. This proof can be provided via - Operator license/certificate and/or pervious job referral/feedback.
