Notice ID AM_FA820323R0369 was deleted in error on 8/23/23 and is being reposted on 8/23/23 for remaining offer period. See attached original notice.** The government intends to issue a sole source solicitation/contract to University of Dayton Research Institute (CAGE 50280) under the previously competed/awarded ATLAS III IDIQ contract FA8203-18-D-0004. The exceptions being used are FAR 16.505 (b)(2)(i)(G) and FAR 6.302-3 (a)(2)(i). The government requires a new engineering service task order for the C-5 Landing Gear Copper Beryllium Bushing Redesign. This task order will involve engineering services support for the redesign of landing gear components necessary to allow the existing carcinogenic material to be replaced by modern hazard free bearing materials. The services sought include non-recurring engineering costs necessary to evaluate, redesign, analyze, prototype, and qualify the GSD NSNs necessary to allow the replacement of the hazardous copper beryllium bushings.
