The Air Combat Command (ACC) Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC) personnel use multiple systems, tools, and sources of information to conduct their duties on a daily basis. An integrated approach for knowledge management is needed to include: a platform to store the information, a design and information organization plan, and a maintenance capability for upkeep. The objective of creating this capability is to eliminate redundancies where possible, create easier access to information, improve data reporting and accuracy, and ensure transparent sharing of information.
