AIR LAUNCH CRUISE MISSILE DIPLAY ASSETS Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) sources in accordance with FAR Part 19.15 for information and planning purposes only. 1. SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research, in accordance with FAR 10, to determine if responsible sources exist. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code of 339999, All Other Miscellaneous Manufacturing. The government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if capable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. 1.2 The information requested by this sources sought will be used within the Air Force (AF) to facilitate decision-making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Firms choosing to respond to this RFI are cautioned that this RFI is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). 1.3 In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract or agreement. The AF will not be obligated to pursue any particular acquisition alternative as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. Responses to the Sources Sought Notice will not be returned. Not responding to this Sources Sought Notice does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if one is issued. 2. PROGRAM DETAILS 2.1 The AFNWC is in need of one 1:2 scale exterior entrance model and one 1:5 scale interior model of the ALCM with an exact outward appearance representative of the ALCM asset. The models must have an exact replica of the current ALCM asset. The outer shell must be made of materials to withstand exterior climate change elements. The model will not contain any working, non-working, unclassified, classified parts within or outside the ALCM assembly. The model will only consist of the outer shell and must remain empty on the interior. Paint and all markings will be representative of the ALCM asset. The ALCM Static Model Purchase objective is to support the display and historical needs of the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC). If you believe you can provide this product to the specifications required, please submit a Statement of Capability and include the information requested below. 3. INFORMATION REQUESTED (Please limit submission to 2 pages) 1. Describe your company plans to manufacture, package, ship, deliver, and install 1/5 scale indoor ALCM model and the 1:2 scale ALCM exterior entrance model with preexisting concrete pad provided. 2. Provided estimated manufacturing, delivery, and installation lead times. Both models will be delivered to 7330 Sentry Blvd. Bldg. 469 Tinker Air Force Base 73145-8901. 3. Company Information: Name, address, telephone number, point of contact names, e-mail addresses, CAGE code, and business size (for small business include socioeconomic status e.g. 8(a), HUBZone, etc.) 4. Recommendations for use of an alternative NAICS code. 5.
