The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO) intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source contract with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth, TX to develop and implement organic F-35 aircraft component repair capabilites for over twenty-five (25) different systems at multiple CONUS Depots. Additionally, this contract will provide for the initial lay-in of repair material for F-35 aircraft components identified during the developmental stages of establishing the repair capabilities. This proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Goverment intends to solicit and negotiate with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete these proposed contract actions is soley within the discretion of the Government.
