The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), AL, is seeking sources that can provide Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) robotics classroom and competition kits for the Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corp (AFJROTC) at Maxwell AFB. All feedback and information received may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy. NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: 1.A solicitation does not exist for this requirement. This is only a sources sought synopsis, soplease do not submit proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basisof this sources sought. 2.If the Government decides to pursue a solicitation, portions of your responses to this sourcessought may be incorporated into the final solicitation. Respondents are discouraged fromsubmitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. 3.Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this sources sought.Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. 4.Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this sources sought. To assist the Government in developing a potential acquisition strategy, please provide the following information: 1.GENERAL INFORMATION: a.Company name, address, point of contact, voice and fax telephone numbers and email address. b.Type of business, (i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced- disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.), under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339930, which contains a size standard of 500 EMP. CAGE Code and DUNS Number. c.Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide the requirements described above. Please provide rationale for your answer if different from NAICS 339930. d.Please describe any customary commercial contract terms or conditions that you feel would make any resulting contract more effective if applicable. 2.CAPABILITIES: The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources interested in providing this STEM robotics package. Please address the following regarding your capabilities in meeting the requirements: a.Please review the attached Statement of Requiremnets (SOR), specifically paragraphs 2.1 – 2.8.1, and provide manufacturer specifications or product literature that clearly demonstrates that your kits meet these requirements. b.Is your company capable of meeting this requirement? Please respond “Yes or No.” c.If your response to Question 2.a. above was “Yes”, please provide no more than two (2) references for no more than two (2) recent and relevant contracts performed in the last three(3)years. Include name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address for each reference. Also, provide a brief description of the work performed, contract number, total contract value and period of performance. Contracts must be the same or similar to the items.d.If your response to Question 2.a. above was "Yes," please provide proof of capability (i.e. Price Estimate, Price Schedule, etc.). 3.RESPONSES: E-mail responses to this sources sought to the points of contact identified below.
