INTRODUCTION: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the availability and technical capability of large and small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Woman Owned Small Business) to meet the Government’s need for KC-46 Jack Stand Testers. The KC-46 is a wide-body, multi-role tanker that can refuel all United States, allied and coalition military aircraft compatible with international aerial refueling procedures and is designed to carry passengers, cargo and patients. Through the use of the KC-46 Jack Stand Testers, the aircraft is suspended from the ground to allow for maintenance and inspections. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) requires a quantity of five, KC-46 Jack Stand Testers to be delivered to the following locations over the course of the next five-years, as shown below: LOCATION Delivery Date Quantity Travis AFB, CA 12-months After Receipt of Order (ARO) 1 CONUS Location TBD 12-months ARO 1 CONUS Location TBD 12-months ARO 1 CONUS Location TBD 12-months ARO 1 CONUS Location TBD 12-months ARO 1 *Note: The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price (FFP), five-year requirements-type contract in which task orders for the KC-46 Jack Stand Tester will be issued as funding becomes available. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES: See Attachment 1 - KC-46 Jack Stand Tester Salient Characteristics. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE: The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 336413, Other Aircraft Part and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing, with the corresponding business size standard of 1,250 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this requirement is 1560, Airframe Structural Components. In order to make a determination for a small business set-aside, two or more qualified and capable small businesses must submit responses that demonstrate their qualifications. Responses must demonstrate the company’s ability to perform in accordance with the Limitations on Subcontracting clause (FAR 52.219-14).
