The Department of Defense and the Air Force recognize the importance of the development, deployment, and management of secure and reliable fifth-generation (5G) communications infrastructure. To support the National Strategy to Secure 5G and fulfill the goals of the National Cyber Strategy, the Air Force will support the United States and the Department of Defense with their lines of effort in facilitating the rollout of 5G domestically and promoting responsible global development and deployment of secure and reliable 5G infrastructure.
