Sources Sought Product Service Code: Y - CONSTRUCT OF STRUCTURES/FACILITIES Place of Performance: Al Dhafra Air Base (ADAB), UAE The 380th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron located at Al Dhafra Air Base (ADAB), UAE, is sourcing local (within 150 km radius of ADAB) vendors that are responsible in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 9 and are capable of performing both simple and complex construction services on ADAB. The Government intends to use this information to increase its potential vendor database. This is a Sources Sought notice and shall not be construed in any manner to be an obligation on behalf of the Government, or result in any claim for reimbursement of costs for any effort expended in responding to this request. Construction services rendered may consist of, but is not limited to, providing labor, equipment, material, transportation, quality control, and supervision necessary to perform various construction projects. Contracts for construction services will range between a project magnitude minimum of $2,000.00 to a maximum aggregate value of $60,000,000.00. Potential contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site https://www.sam.gov/SAM/). Potential contractors should also expect to abide by applicable FAR, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, (DFARS), Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS), and mandatory procedures. (See Internet Site https://www.acquisition.gov). Contractors interested in future business with ADAB must be able to gain access through the appropriate Emirati checkpoints. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition will fall under the following sectors: 22 – Utilities 23 – Construction The 380th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron requests that vendors interested in being added to our vendor base for construction services and that meet the requirements outlined above submit a Statement of Capabilities (SoC) and maximum annual capacity to support this requirement. This SoC and annual capacity declaration shall not exceed 5 pages in total length.
