This is NOT a solicitation for quotations or proposals. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southwest (NAVFACSYSCOM SW) is conducting market research to gain knowledge of available sources capable of meeting the Government’s need for facilities maintenance services throughout Marine Corps Base (MCB), Camp Pendleton, California and Naval Weapons Station, Fallbrook Annex, California. The Contractor shall be required to perform corrective maintenance services on commercial office buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, bachelor living quarters, aid stations, retail buildings, child care buildings, mess halls, restaurants, recreational facilities, theater, training facilities, ranges, utilities buildings, and other various types of buildings and facilities located at various areas on Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton and Naval Weapons Station, Fallbrook Annex, California. The Contractor shall have a workforce of maintenance technicians that are fully qualified to perform the scope of work requirements. This workforce shall meet qualification requirements by providing applicable certification, training, and licensing for corrective maintenance in their assigned trade(s)/work activities (e.g. Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)/refrigeration/Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, glazing, natural/propane gas, pipefitting, masonry/concrete, sheet metal, welding, painting, heating, etc.) necessary to perform maintenance services as ordered under the resultant contract. The scope of work requirements will include one or a combination of specific project requirements to be issued as task orders under the resultant contract. The primary work requirements will be for service maintenance and may include ancillary minor construction requirements. The Contractor shall comply with the current Department of Labor wage decision(s) that will be incorporated into the resultant contract. The Contractor shall pay all workforce performing maintenance services under the resultant contract as applicable to the Service Contract Act (maintenance services) and/or the Davis Bacon Act (minor construction). Various work projects historically required for this contract may include but are not limited to the following: electrical, painting, HVAC, DDC systems, carpentry (e.g. doors, windows, etc.), plumbing, painting, flooring, etc.
