The general scope of this project is to provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to repair the HVAC and electrical system at Bldg. 3280 aboard MCB Quantico, VA. The contractor shall perform all work as necessary to complete the contract in a satisfactory and acceptable manner; and adhere to all applicable federal, state and local regulations. This project includes one (1) base bid and two (2) additive bid options: Base Bid: The main scope items included in the Base Bid: 1) Replace existing 300 ton chiller with 200 ton chiller and reconfigure to a primary/secondary pumping configuration; 2) Replace chilled water and condenser water pumps; 3) Replace boiler with condensing boilers and replace hot water pumps; 4) Replace all ten central air handling units; 5) Replace all fan-powered and passive VAV boxes; 6) Complete building automation system renovation; 7) Commission all building mechanical and control systems; 8) Update building HVAC controls and sequence of operations; and 9) Correct cooling tower make-up water issues and level controls. Bid Option 1 - Provide and install one temporary relocatable trailer to house displaced building occupants, to include associated site work, furniture systems, rental and maintenance costs, and removal. CONFIG A. Bid Option 2 – Complete work in those specific areas identified on Sheet M002 as Option "B" as being occupied during the construction of their respective floors. These areas consist of a conference room, offices and reception space and shall be isolated from construction work occurring on other parts of their respective floors. Temporary walls, heating and cooling, dust control and access must be provided for those occupants to work. Construction work will only occur at night or on weekends in these spaces.
