The general scope of this project is to provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to repair the TBS Electrical System – Substation aboard MCB Quantico, VA. The contractor shall perform all work as necessary to complete the contract in a satisfactory and acceptable manner; and adhere to all applicable federal, state and local regulations. The main scope items for the work includes replacement of the existing TBS’s 15 kV switchgears with pad mounted gas-insulated 15 kV switchgear with microprocessor based interrupters and the existing FBI Academy’s 35 kV switchgear with pad mounted gas insulated 35 kV switchgear with microprocessor based interrupters. This project will also reconnect existing 120-volt circuits currently fed from the 35 kV switchgear enclosure.
