The general scope of this project is to provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to repair the electrical system along Russell Road, aboard MCB Quantico, VA. The contractor shall perform all work as necessary to complete the contract in a satisfactory and acceptable manner; and adhere to all applicable federal, state and local regulations. The main scope items include the following work at the Marsh Center, Building 3280 at MCB Quantico, and electrical work along Russell Road: 1) Replace the indoor building main electrical transformer with an outdoor pad mounted unit. 2) Replace the main building Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) with a bypass-isolation ATS. 3) Replace all existing pad mounted 35kV sectionalizing switches along Russell Road. 4) Add a new 35kV pad mounted sectionalizing switch for the Marsh Center transformer. 5) Replace the 35kV cables along Russell Road in existing duct systems and add a second feeder for primary selective system operation. 6) Perform replacements and repairs at the main overhead electrical delivery poles on Russell Rd. and add a second riser pole for the second feeder. 7) Commission the existing power quality and revenue metering at the Marsh Center main electrical service.
